What happens when your kids see you painting your nails and want join in on the fun, but you don’t trust them with regular nail polish?
Personally, I’ve never had the urge to suck down a bottle of Lincoln Park After Dark, but kids are different; they’ll eat literally anything. Knowing this, Audrey Amara and Josh Kroot came up with this genius idea to create a nail polish that was not only fun and safe for children, but also edible.
Kid Licks is a non-toxic nail polish made from food and is completely organic and edible. It’s also gluten, dairy and nut-free. The three
snacks polishes available are Beet Red, Sour Carrot Orange, and Barley Grass Green. These autumn hues would go great with some fall riding boots, knit poncho, and oversized sunglasses. Kids wear that right?
The polish dries just like normal polish and the removal process is a piece o’ cake. Just scrub it off with water or ya know, lick it off.
While the $13.99 veggie-based polish only lasts about a day on your nails (pending it doesn’t come in contact with a swim lesson or shower), the bottle lasts around two months in the fridge. Just make some room in the crisper drawer.
