How-To: Nail Polish Easter Eggs

Easter is this Sunday and whether or not you celebrate this Holiday, dyeing eggs is always fun to do during the spring. I’m not talking about using that food coloring egg dyeing set you get from Walmart or Rite-Aid that always makes your hands more colorful than the eggs. I’m talking about taking some of your favorite, colorful nail polishes and following the same steps you would for creating a marble manicure or polished pumpkins.

Mom.me gives a step-by-step tutorial on how to create these festive eggs. Which, can I just point out, are given out by a bunny. Since when do bunnies lay/give eggs?

Drop a few dots of each colored polish into the water.

Step 1

Using a toothpick, swirl around the polish to create a design.

Step 2

Dip the egg into the polished water. {Note: always a good idea to wear latex gloves to avoid any mess on your skin.}

Place in a bowl for all to admire.
